One of Galel's passions is increasing the reputation and financial knowledge of the professionals in the mortgage industry. Galel has been able to pride himself as a specialist in fiscal literacy who now teaches his peers how to help prepare responsible mortgage plans for their clients.

When asked about why he loves his role as a mortgage planner, Galel says that "helping a deserving family purchase a home is one of the most rewarding aspects of (his) career. The files in my office are not 'deals' - they are families who are achieving the American Dream! It sounds like a cliche' but, we literally get to make dreams come true. It's such an exciting experience, and the impact we have on their lives is what makes me passionate about what I do."

Galel has been in the mortgage industry since 2001, and during the past six years has risen as one of the top mortgage planners in Southern California. He is an affiliate member of the Newport Beach Association of REALTORS®, the South Orange County Chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS®, as well as the Orange County Association of REALTORS®. Galel also serves as the Co-Chair of the Ambassadors for the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce.

On the personal side of his life, Galel's roots to Southern California run deep. Having grown up in the city of Costa Mesa for most of his life, Galel is a proud graduate of Costa Mesa High School. After high school, he attended the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a Minor in Humanities and Law. Galel remains close to his home town, moving Coast Mortgage Group to Costa Mesa, beginning September 1st, 2007. Galel is married to his high school sweetheart Emily, and has the pleasure of working along with her since she was hired as Vice President of Coast Mortgage Group in February 2007. Often asked about his unique name, Galel is proud to discuss his family's Latin American heritage - from the country of Honduras. Galel is a Mayan Indian name, which he proudly shares with his father. An enormous benefit of being multicultural is that Galel continues to be fluent in Spanish. When away from the office, Galel can often be seen at Angel Stadium cheering for his beloved Angels, and has coached baseball at Costa Mesa High School, serves as an emergency radio communicator for area hospitals, attempts to golf, and enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends. Galel and Emily currently reside in South Orange County, and enjoy watching their favorite baseball team the Angels, traveling, going to the beach, and reading.
